Meet Kierra

Hello, I’m Kierra, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and the founder of Seeking Self PLLC.

I created this practice to support adults who feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, self-doubt, anxiety, and emotional disconnection. So many people move through life appearing capable on the outside while internally feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected from their own needs and voice. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, reflect, and begin relating to yourself with greater honesty and compassion. I believe that therapy works best when it feels like a conversation with someone who truly listens—not someone who judges or tries to "fix" you.

My goal is to provide a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you make sense of what has been weighing on you.

My Approach

My approach is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in curiosity. I see therapy as a space for honest conversation, deeper self-understanding, and meaningful change. Rather than judgment or pressure, I aim to offer a supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns with care.

I work from the belief that many of the struggles people experience today are connected to earlier experiences, internalized expectations, survival strategies, and learned ways of coping. Together, we can begin identifying what has shaped you, what may no longer be serving you, and what it could look like to move forward in a way that feels more aligned.

Seeking Self PLLC was created to be a place where people can slow down and begin listening inward again. A place where healing is not rushed. A place where you can explore your patterns, deepen your self-awareness, and move toward a more grounded relationship with yourself.
